Normandy next?

Language teacher divorced in 2020, retired since 2023. Migratory: Jan-Mars in Kenya by the coast; Sweden May-July in the forest; Normandy (France) facing Jersey the rest of the year. Those travels make it difficult to establish a steady relationship though. I fancy nature and its preservation, outdoor life, healthy food, simple and genuine people. No smoking, social drinking. That is why I enjoy spending time in winter eating fresh fruits and fish. I swim daily in the Indian Ocean and its pristine beaches of white coral sand. I love the sun and the temperature at the Equator (27-32° C) feels fine. I have been there 12 winters by now. In France, summertime, I also swim and stroll on the beach when I don’t take care of the house. On my land, I plant trees and increase biodiversity. I would like to produce my own food but so far my travels have limited this ambition. I meet friends and neighbours in those 3 countries. My 2 children are adults, they live in Sweden with their family. That is a reason why I keep in touch with Scandinavia. Their mother is Swedish, we separated 20 years ago. I met a woman in Kenya 2010. We married and lived together in Sweden about 10 years. She wanted a better life. It took me time to realize it had nothing to do with me. I have worked in Sweden over 40 years and have never dated French women. Teaching students all my life and being married to a much younger African wife is a handicap: I have no experience of women of my age. It is not a problem in Africa but a black woman from France would more likely expect a man of about her age. I’m aware of that. Most black women prefer urban life and live in cities. They have social life and children there. I don’t mind visiting big cities but would never live there. I prize quality life: space, nature, clean air, silence, security and no stress. Those choices rule out many profiles. My tolerance, understanding, kindness, empathy and generosity are not always rewarded: I have been exploited in a toxic relation by my NPD-wife. I am an unfortunate expert on narcissism. I can be patient, am a qualify listener and do not get angry but I require calm open discussions when opinions don’t match. I recently got operated for failing arteries. I haven’t had serious health issues previously and it should be fixed by now. I love going to charity shops and I have gathered lots of 20th century Swedish glass those last 20 years. I try to sell those lamps and vases on the internet, both in Sweden and in France. I am used to living alone and haven’t suffer from it. It takes time to reconstruct after a straining relationship. But it would be fun to meet someone to share good times with. I live simply and appreciate simplicity, so money is not a problem. I am quite sure wealth does not bring happiness. Enjoying sun and heat wintertime, walking on endless empty beaches, swim in clear water, cooking your own food are pleasures which do not require much money when your house is paid for and your income steady.
